Austin Hill Teams with Young's Motorsports for 2017 NASCAR Season
March 4, 2017Austin Hill looks to kick off his 2017 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series season this weekend at Atlanta Motor Speedway, under the banner of longtime series competitors Young’s Motorsports. The Winston, G.A. native will compete in the No. 02 Ford F150 for 12 scheduled races while Tyler Young rounds out the other 11. Young piloted the team’s entry at Daytona International Speedway, showcasing great speed, before being collected in an early incident.
This Week’s Austin Hill Racing Ford at Homestead … Austin Hill will pilot chassis No. 103 with an all new paint scheme. Don Rich Ford, one of Georgia’s premier Ford dealers, will adorn the No. 02 truck as the primary sponsor. The dealership, which is located in Villa Rica, has been a longtime supporter of Hill, dating back to his run in the Legends and NASCAR K&N Pro Series East. www.donrichford.com
Hill at Atlanta… Hill has one previous start at his home track, which is located only an hour from his hometown of Winston. Kicking off his 2016 season, Hill started 23rd and raced his way up into the top-10, before bringing home his truck in the 12th position.

About Austin Hill
Austin Hill, a Winston, Ga. native, is driven to become the next big name in NASCAR. The 22-year-old is driving a partial schedule in the 2017 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series. Hill is a two-year member of NASCAR Next, a program designed to cultivate and promote the sports’ next generation of superstars. Over his career, Hill has secured five NASCAR K&N victories and one pole award. Hill started his racing career at the age of six in Quarter Midgets. He won the 2002 Quarter Midget championship at his home track in Cumming, Ga. and went on to excel in Bandolero, Legends Semi-Pro Series and Pro Late Model Series racing. Hill currently resides in Salisbury, N.C. with his wife, Ashlyn, and daughter, Lynnlee.
