Austin Hill Joins Forces with Marcus Luttrell’s Lone Survivor Foundation to Cap Off 2016 Season

LSF to Adorn the Hood of No. 20 Ford F-150 at Texas Motor Speedway

MOORESVILLE, N.C. (October 31, 2016) – Austin Hill Racing (AHR) is pleased to announce today a new partnership with Lone Survivor Foundation (LSF) which was founded in 2010 by Navy SEAL (Ret.) Marcus Luttrell. The partnership’s goal will be to raise awareness to the mission of the Lone Survivor Foundation, to restore, empower and renew hope for wounded service members and their families through health, wellness and therapeutic support.

Headquartered in Houston, Texas, the Lone Survivor Foundation will make their NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) debut, Friday, October 4 at Texas Motor Speedway. Hill will prominently showcase their logo on the hood of his No. 20 Ford F-150, as he makes his second career start at the Great American Speedway. The partnership again hits the track during the Friday, November 18th season finale at Homestead-Miami Speedway.

“It is truly an honor to be able to represent the Lone Survivor Foundation this coming weekend at Texas Motor Speedway,” commented Hill. “Any organization that makes it their life work to take care of our veterans and their families, will also have my full support. Because of our veteran’s tireless efforts and selfless acts, we continue to be able to enjoy the great freedoms afforded to us by being Americans. I look forward to raising awareness for the Lone Survivor Foundation and helping them support our military families any way I can.”

“We are honored to have the support of Austin Hill Racing,” said Vanessa Forse, LSF Director of Marketing and Events. “Hundreds of veterans and their family members come through the doors of our retreat facility each year, and our waiting list keeps growing. We are grateful to those who help spread the word about our important mission, so that we can continue to serve those who have served.”

Lone Survivor Foundation’s mission is to restore, empower and renew hope for wounded service members and their families through health, wellness and therapeutic support. LSF hosts therapeutic retreats for service members with Post Traumatic Stress, mild Traumatic Brain Injury, Chronic Pain, and Military Sexual Trauma. They host retreats for individual service members, couples, and families, as well as separate retreats for care partners. Retreat attendees partake in psychoeducational group sessions and individual counseling, as well as Equine Assisted Learning (EAL) using the EAGALA model, neuro-feedback, combat-trauma specific yoga and other cutting-edge modalities. All of these services are provided at no cost to the service members or their families.

Austin Hill Racing will next see NASCAR Camping World Truck Series action Friday, November 4 at Texas Motor Speedway for the Longhorn 350. Hill and his No. 20 Lone Survivor Foundation Ford F-150 will take the green flag shortly after 8:30 PM Eastern for the 147 lap showdown. FoxSports 1 will carry the live television broadcast, while the Motor Racing Network (MRN) and SiriusXM Satellite Radio, will have live radio coverage.
