United Rentals Partners with Austin Hill Racing in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series

Partnership to kick off in an associate role at Texas Motor Speedway before culminating in a primary sponsorship at Phoenix International Raceway

 

MOORESVILLE, N.C. (October 31, 2017) – Officials with Austin Hill and Young’s Motorsports are pleased to announce today that United Rentals Inc., the largest equipment rental company in the world, has partnered with the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) team in a two-race partnership.

 

United Rentals will serve as the associate sponsor on the No. 02 Ford F150 at Texas Motor Speedway on Friday, November 3, 2017 before taking over the primary sponsorship role at Phoenix International Raceway on Friday, November 10. Between the two NCWTS events, fans can follow along on social media, as Austin and his team complete the United Rentals Pit Stop Tour, visiting several United Rentals locations as they drive from Texas to Phoenix. On top of visiting some of the great United Rentals locations in the Southwest, the team will be stopping at unique sights along the historic Route 66. Fans can follow along using the official hashtag #UR2017PitStopTour

Flag-to-flag coverage of the JAG Metals 350 Driving Hurricane Harvey Relief from Texas Motor Speedway will be televised on FS1 beginning at 8:00 p.m. Eastern Time on Friday, November 3, and broadcast live on the Motor Racing Network and Sirius XM Satellite Radio beginning at 8:00 p.m. ET.

 

Flag-to-flag coverage of the Lucas Oil 150 from Phoenix International Raceway will be televised on FS1 beginning at 8:30 p.m. Eastern Time on Friday, November 10, and broadcast live on the Motor Racing Network and Sirius XM Satellite Radio beginning at 8:30 p.m. ET.

About Austin Hill

Austin Hill, a Winston, Ga. native, is driven to become the next big name in NASCAR. The 22-year-old is driving a partial schedule in the 2017 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series, in a newly formed partnership with Young’s Motorsports, in the No. 02 Ford F-150. Hill successfully graduated, after being a two-year member of NASCAR Next, a program designed to cultivate and promote the sports’ next generation of superstars. Hill started his racing career at the age of six in Quarter Midgets and won the 2002 Quarter Midget championship at his home track in Cumming, G.A. before moving on to excel in the Bandolero, Legends Series and Pro Late Model Series. While in the NASCAR Next program, Hill secured five wins and one pole award in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East, along with 13 top-five, 24 top-10 finishes. Hill currently resides in Salisbury, N.C. with his wife, Ashlyn, and daughter, Lynnlee.
